Liz Fieldcamp
Elizabeth Fieldcamp has been listening to her muses ever since she was born.  From fashion to photography to interiors, she has always appreciated art of every medium and has channeled the inspiration into her own creations.  Her first collection, which she designed and assembled at the young age of ten, was a line of beaded bracelets and necklaces.  A neighborhood boutique enthusiastically agreed to carry the jewelry and, since earning that first paycheck, Elizabeth has known that her calling lay in the arts.
A native Texan, she studied Fashion Merchandising at Texas State University.  She then moved to Los Angeles, where the multitude of cultures and styles brought her creations to new heights.  In addition to making her own jewelry, Elizabeth began to scour vintage shops and flea markets, where she’d purchase old pieces and refashion them into unique earrings, bracelets, rings and necklaces.  Her friends were wowed by her sense of style and it wasn’t long before she started receiving commissions.
Along with jewelry, Elizabeth maintained a fascination with clothing design.  So much so that she decided to open her own women’s store.  She moved back to her hometown in Texas and adored every aspect of running Market Boutique, from designing the store’s space to ordering the merchandise to helping her clients look fabulous.  She continued making bobbles and selling them in the store; and, after four successful years, she decided to return to jewelry-making full-time.  So, she sold the boutique and moved back to Los Angeles.
Now, two decades after her first collection, she has created a line called Gypsy Collection.  She loves the nomadic feel of the name because the line is an eclectic mix of styles that span the globe.  Along with jewels that Elizabeth has created herself, the collection includes pieces from some of her favorite designers.  The pieces range from big and chunky to small and dainty, and they often include two of her favorite materials: geodes and drusy gemstones.  In homage to her stylish girlfriends, who run the gamut from hippie-chick to rocker to classic girl to you-name-it, Elizabeth titles each of her pieces after a particular friend.  She hopes you’ll delight in wearing her jewelry as much as she delights in creating it.
